A reliable guide to venture beyond the familiar – RIGA IFF announces first films of its 13th edition!
From 15 to 25 October, Latvia's largest celebration of cinema, the Riga International Film Festival, or RIGA IFF, will take place for the 13th time. The extensive yet carefully curated programme will once again serve as a trusted guide, inviting audiences to venture beyond the familiar and discover unique stories, vivid emotions and the highlights of contemporary cinema.
Now is the perfect time to start planning your October evenings at RIGA IFF – a limited number of "early bird" 10-ticket packs are currently available, offering access to festival screenings at a special price. A festival pass – a “key” to almost all public screenings of the RIGA IFF programme, including the opening night – is also now available for sale. Both can be purchased at rigaiff.lv and at Biļešu Serviss sales points.
A first glimpse of the upcoming programme is also already available at rigaiff.lv, featuring acclaimed and widely celebrated films from Cannes, Berlin and other international festivals alongside an outstanding line-up of stars who captivate, move and challenge. Among them are Léa Seydoux, Catherine Deneuve, Tom Courtenay, Rupert Grint, Juliette Binoche, Gillian Anderson, Bill Pullman, Anders Danielsen Lie, Sandra Hüller and many more. Additional titles from this year's programme, including Latvian film premieres and other noteworthy works from across European and world cinema, will be announced ahead of the full programme reveal in September.
