Pitbull invites fans to join a historic Guinness World record attempt
Global pop superstar Pitbull will perform a special show at the prestigious BST Hyde Park festival in London on 10 July, where fans will attempt to set an official Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps. Fans around the world will be able to follow the historic event live on Pitbull’s official YouTube channel.
The record attempt has become part of a unique fan movement that has taken over Pitbull concerts around the world in recent years. Inspired by the artist’s signature look, thousands of fans attend his shows wearing bald caps and call themselves “The Bald E’s”. With humour, creativity and a strong sense of community, the movement has become one of the most recognisable parts of the Pitbull concert experience.
The livestream from London will last approximately two hours and will give viewers the chance not only to watch Pitbull’s performance, but also to go behind the scenes, hear fan stories and follow the Guinness World Record attempt as it happens. The broadcast will be produced in the style of a major sports event, featuring commentators, interviews and special live moments, allowing fans across the world to feel part of the occasion.
Pitbull is currently continuing his massive “I’m Back” world tour, which has already sold more than 2 million tickets across 27 countries, making it the biggest solo tour of his career to date. The tour has brought together sold-out arenas and festival crowds across Europe and North America, once again proving Pitbull’s enduring global popularity and his ability to unite audiences of different generations.
Very soon, fans in Latvia will also be able to experience this energy live. On 29 July, Pitbull will perform at Mežaparks Great Bandstand in Riga. The concert is completely sold out and will be attended by more than 40,000 fans from across the Baltics and other countries. American rapper and producer Lil Jon will perform as the special guest.
Due to the enormous interest in the concert, the organisers strongly advise fans not to purchase tickets from classified ads, social media or any other unofficial sales channels, as there is a high risk of buying counterfeit tickets. All tickets will be scanned electronically at the entrance, meaning invalid tickets will be detected immediately.
