Today starts ticket sales to Ed Sheeran concert next Summer
Today at 12 PM www.bilesuserviss.lv starts selling tickets to the world’s most successful musician Ed Sheeran’s show, which will take place in Riga, Lucavsala next Summer on July 12th. This will be the only performance of British songwriter in all Baltic states.
In Latvia tickets will be available only online on www.bilesuserviss.lv website, all tickets will be personalized (with purchasers name and surname on it), and there is a ticket purchase limit of maximum 4 tickets per one customer. For safety and covenience reasons concert territory in Lucavsala is divided into two parts – tickets in zone A (closer to the stage) will cost € 79, while in zone B their starting price will be € 59, but reaching the limit the price in zone B will rise to € 69. Additionally to concert tickets, people from further cities in Latvia will have chance to buy fan bus tickets, which will provide comfortable getting to the event and back. Right now there are planned buses from such cities as Ventspils, Talsi, Tukums, Liepāja, Kuldīga, Valmiera, Cēsis, Sigulda, Rēzekne, Madona, Daugavpils un Jēkabpils.

In Ireland, more than 300,000 tickets for seven shows across Cork, Belfast, Galway and Dublin were sold in a single day, making history for Sheeran being the only artist to ever do such accomplishment in Irish territory. It went similarly in Warsaw, where 2 stadium shows were sold out within a few hours and more than a year in advance. In Australia and New Zealand the tour broke the official record for the most tickets sold at over 1 million, as well as most stadium shows by a single artist on one tour (18), what is an absolute record for the region.
