To open the summer season at M/Workshop, we invite you to two exciting concerts!

20:00 S&T Syndicate" is an instrumental fusion band from Riga, combining elements of jazz, rock and electronica in their music. "S&T Syndicate has been active since 2009 and has also gained recognition with the presentation of their first studio album "Interaction", which received a Golden Microphone nomination in the category "Best Jazz Album" in 2018. The band consists of Rihards Vāvere (drums), Mārtiņš Jurjāns (piano), Nauris Kolmanis (saxophone), Kaspars Lastovskis (bass), Roberts Gromovs (guitar) un Kaspars Balodis (guitar).

21:00 "Very Cool People" is the most popular Latvian jazz-funk band. Together with the charming singer Paula Saija, they have created a new program of songs filled with sing-along melodies and stage energy, which will later be released as an album.

The songs "Viens otram pretī and "Rikšiem” have already become radio hits, and videos have been created for them, while the whole new program has been polished to a brilliant shine in recent concerts in Latvia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Germany.

The songs are written by the members of Very Cool People – Elvijs Grafcovs, Māris Jēkabsons, Kristaps Lubovs, Andris Buiķis un Māris Vitkus. The lyrics were written in both English and Latvian by the performers themselves, as well as by guest authors.
