International Jazz Day @M/Darbnīca
M/Darbnīca would like to invite you to an evening of jazz vocals featuring two talented Latvian vocalists. The concert will showcase the diversity and richness of Latvian jazz music.
The event will feature the following musicians:
Artjoms Sarvi - piano
Pauls Ķierpe - drums
Jānis Pastars - guitar
Vocalists:
Santa Šillere (first part)
Evilena Protektore (second part)
In the first part of the concert, Santa Šillere will guide us through the sounds and influences of original jazz music & tribute to the legendary jazz vocalist, Sarah Vaughan, who left an unforgettable mark in the history of jazz music. Santa Šillere is a renowned jazz singer, composer, and vocal teacher who has showcased her talents at local and international festivals and competitions.
In the second part of the concert, Evilena Protektore will present her latest original jazz music, which will captivate and take you on a journey through the world of sound. Evilena is a jazz graduate of the Latvian Academy of Music and has collaborated with many international musicians. She has also won several major awards during her journey through the jazz landscape.
