Metallica's WorldWired Tour has confirmed its return to Europe, this time for a staggering run of their own outdoor gigs at stadiums, parks, and even one at a castle. Special guests Ghost (swe) and Bokassa (nor) will provide support on all dates.
Metallica return to Estonia for the first time since 2010 and on July 18 will be performing for the very first time in Tartu - the second largest city of Estonia. It’s known for the prestigious, 17th-century University of Tartu and often considered the intellectual centre of the country. It is also the birthplace of Estonian Song Festivals.
The show takes place at Raadi Airfield. After Second World War, Raadi Airfield became a major Soviet bomber base and one of Eastern Europe’s largest and most important airfields - few dozens of bombers were based here. The stage will be located right behind the complex of The Estonian National Museum, which new impressive building was opened to the public in 2016. The project was won by collaboration of Dan Dorell, Lina Ghotmeh (France) and Tsuyoshi Tane (UK). Museum tracks the history, life, culture and traditions of the Estonian people.
Metallica’s WorldWired Tour indoor run broke attendance records in 29 venues across Europe. Now its time for outdoor run of 25 shows across 20 countries. With this kind of itinerary, it’s natural that the Wherever I May Roam Black Ticket will be returning: one ticket allowing floor access to any Metallica show on the 2019 UK/Europe tour. From A(msterdam) to Z(urich) and all points between, Black Ticket holders need only choose the show(s) and make an online reservation no less than 48 hours before the gig. A limited number of 750 of these Black Tickets* will be available for 598 Euro, more info here: CID Entertainment.
As with most of Metallica’s WorldWired shows, every ticket purchased includes a choice of standard physical or standard digital copy of the band’s 10th and current album, Hardwired…To Self-Destruct.
And once again, all tickets will include a free MP3 download of the show(s) attended, mixed and mastered by the team behind Hardwired...To Self-Destruct. The free full-show downloads can be obtained by scanning or entering the barcode from that show’s ticket stub at LiveMetallica.com/scan.
Enhanced experience options will also be returning in partnership with the team at CID Entertainment: Three options of special enhanced experiences, including premium tickets and amenities ranging from early access to the venue and the "Memory Remains" traveling museum to meeting members of the band. Visit CID Entertainment for full package details.
