Having received a Grammy nomination for every album released so far, the band can also boast a Grammy Award for Best album and three album No.1’s in the U.S. to be amongst some of their greatest commercial achievements. Arcade Fire will deliver their sole Baltic performance as part of their newest album Everything Now tour, which was kicked-off by an extensive advertising campaign on the North American continent at the end of last year. The Canadians artists will perform numerous shows across Europe, some of which have already been sold out. General ticket sale starts from Wednesday, April 4th, from 10 AM in all Biļešu Serviss box offices and online. FBI and Positivus members have an exclusive chance to buy priority tickets, starting from Tuesday, April 3.

Global music reviewers have dubbed the band’s fifth studio album Everything now (2017) as a blend of electro-pop and disco, with their trademark socially impactful and profound lyrics. Whilst maintaining focus on songs from their newest album, Arcade Fire are sure to delight their audience with beloved masterpieces from their previous creative periods. One of the loudest messengers of all things wild and free, melodic and rock, alternative to the bone and ultimately indie-rock, Arcade Fire are sure to deliver one of this summer’s most resounding shows.

While NME Magazine placed Arcade Fire’s 2004 debut album amongst the year’s best records, others, such as Pitchfork and Filter crowned it as the record of the year. The Canadian indie rockers have since played sold-out shows at some of the world’s grandest stadiums and most popular festivals and opened for U2. Arcade Fire's notable collaboration with the great late music icon David Bowie undoubtedly opened countless doors and connected them with music aficionados across generations.

Their debut album Funeral (2004) earned the band their first two Grammy nominations - one for Best Alternative Rock Album and another for Best Song Written for Visual Media for their track Cold Wind, which appeared on the cult show Six Feet Under. The band has also been nominated for multiple BRIT Awards in three categories - as best International Breakthrough Act, best International Group and for best International Album.

Their second studio album Neon Bible (2007) didn’t falter in terms of acclaim, with music critics pronouncing it to be indie rock’s victory march, praising its elements of baroque-pop and folk-rock. Neon Bible was likewise nominated for a Grammy for Best Alternative Music Album, instantly debuting on the Billboard 200 at number two and selling 92,000 copies in its first week, with more than 400,000 copies sold to date.

Arcade Fire’s third studio album The Suburbs (2010) was both fan and critic adored, earning the band an array of awards, from a Grammy Award for best International Album, a Juno Award for Album of the Year, as well as a Polaris Music Prize, which is awarded annually to the best full-length Canadian album based on artistic merit. On their following album Reflektor (2013), the band once again collaborated with David Bowie, whose vocals can be heard on the record’s eponymous song. The band also created the soundtrack for the acclaimed Spike Jonze film Her (2013), for which they received a Satellite Award nomination. Their documentary film called The Reflektor Tapes, about the making of the album, premiered at the 2015 Toronto Film Festival.

General ticket sale for Arcade Fire will start on April 4th in all Biļešu Serviss box offices and at https://www.bilesuserviss.lv/eng/.
