The third album by Evanescence was released in 2011. Finally the newest (released in the end of November) – The Ultimate Collection – is a compilation of 6 vinyls which concludes the list of band’s official albums, unreleased songs and newest studio composition Even In Death (2016).
Amy Lee
Lead vocalist – 35 years old Amy Lee (just celebrated her birthday on the 13th of December) – is the band’s “face” for more than 20 years, but she has actively engaged in other bands and projects too, for example, Korn and Seether (performed in Palladium concert hall in December 2014).
The talented girl was born in 1981 in California, in a family of Dj John Lee and TV personality Sarah Cargill. She got her education in a private school and was playing the piano for ten years. Later the rising star joined the University of Tennessee, but the success of Evanescence interrupted her studies and she did’t graduate.
In an interview Amy said that she wrote her first song when she was 11 years old and all her life dreamt about a career as a classical music composer.
In 2007 Amy got married to her friend psychotherapist Josh Hartzler and they have a 2-year-old son Jack Lion. Always so bright and noticeable Amy Lee believes that the key of her success is combination of gothic make-up and clothes from the times of Queen Victoria. She designs the stage costumes herself because she can’t find anything she would want to wear in shops.
Ticket sales will start on the 21st of December in “Biļešu serviss” network and www.bilesuserviss.lv.
