Režisore Paula Pļavniece: "Šodien mēs nereti uzzinām stāstu versijas, ko iepriekš neesam dzirdējuši, un dodam balsi tiem, kurus agrāk neviens nav uzklausījis. Tāpēc pienācis laiks ļaut Vilkam atklāt savu versiju par sen zināmo stāstu. Galu galā tieši viņš bijis tas, pret kuru gadiem ilgi vērsta nomelnošanas kampaņa, nekad nenoskaidrojot visus notikumu apstākļus. Vilks apgalvo, ka nekad nav darījis pāri nedz Sarkangalvītei, nedz Vecmāmiņai, nedz kazlēniem vai sivēntiņiem. Tāpēc kopā ar ruksīšiem ir gatavs izskaidrot, no kurienes cēlies neveiksmīgais pārpratums."
