Before the midsummer bonfires are lit and flower crowns are woven, we invite you to a heartfelt and music-filled Līgo celebration in the heart of Riga – VEF KVARTĀLS.
On June 18, VEF Vasarnīca will transform into a festive courtyard, where urban concrete meets the romance of oak leaves, and a crisp summer evening blends with the warmth of beloved songs.

The musical highlight of the evening will be Apvedceļš, a beloved Latvian band whose songs – “Ļauj, lai lietus notiek” (Let the Rain Happen), “Pienenes” (Dandelions), and the well-known “Zemenes” (Strawberries) – will carry listeners from the industrial charm of VEF KVARTĀLS straight into the heart of Latvia’s meadows.
The event will also feature a charismatic host and DJ, guiding the evening with cheerful Līgo traditions and a rhythm perfect for dancing.

Free entrance, but you can reserve a table for up to 8 people.
Each reservation includes:
– A glass of beer for each guest
– A small complimentary treat from our event supporters

Reserved tables offer the best view of the stage and are located right in the heart of the celebration.

You're welcome to bring your own picnic basket to make the evening even more personal and cozy. Please note, however, that outside beverages are not allowed, as the VEF BAR will be open with special festive drink offers. Freshly grilled shashlik with sides will also be available on-site, courtesy of Nom Nom on Wheels.
