Koncerts Romance - Raisa Kopilenko | Rino Rudevičs | Aleksejs Koļesņikovs

On the evening of June 11 at 7:00 PM, the Small Guild will open its doors to those who seek not only sound in music but also meaning.

Here, in the heart of Old Riga, Gypsy romances will be performed — a genre that needs no introduction if you've ever truly heard it even once.

Three experienced performers, well known and loved by the Riga audience for their professionalism and talent, will take part in the program.

RAISA KOPYLENKO — a representative of the renowned musical KOPYLENKO dynasty. Her grandfather, ANDREY KOPYLENKO, founded the musical ensemble AME ROMA in 1934. Her father, ARTUR KOPYLENKO, continued the family tradition and became a well-known musician both in Latvia and abroad. Today, Raisa is the leader of the Gypsy show group AME ROMA. A magnificent singer with a voice that reflects life experience, femininity, and quiet strength. Her performances are always filled with empathy and heartfelt emotion.

RINO RUDEVICH — Raisa’s son, a descendant of two legendary Latvian Roma families — the KOPYLENKO and the RUDEVICH clans. A brilliant fourth-generation musician, an outstanding guitarist, and a bearer of a soulful, authentic Gypsy voice.

ALEXEY KOLESNIKOV — a violinist known to the Riga audience as a versatile stylist, a laureate of international competitions, an exceptional improviser, and a participant in television shows and international festivals. His violin playing never leaves anyone indifferent and touches the most delicate strings of the soul.

This concert is not only an opportunity to connect with a rich tradition and history but also a rare chance to hear music where sincerity, soulfulness, and a live connection between performer and audience truly matter.

The program includes popular Gypsy romances and songs in acoustic arrangement, as well as instrumental works in original arrangements by the performers.
