The most popular ABBA show will perform in Riga

Right before New Year’s, on December 29th, the most popular ABBA show in the world will fill Arena Riga with sounds and atmosphere of legendary Swedish band.

In some interview Björn Ulvaeus once said that ABBA will never reunite again to go on tour: “Not even for a billion, or two! We will never appear on stage again. There is simply no motivation to regroup. Money is not a factor and we would like people to remember us as we were — young, exuberant, full of energy and ambition.” As we know the band is still keeping the promise.

At the same time “The Music of ABBA” gives a wonderful chance to experience it all again!

Thanks to band’s ARRIVAL From Sweden and ABBA’s original concert musicians collaboration, there is a show that takes listeners back to 70’s.

This production has all the features a great ABBA show needs: authentic costumes, right dance moves, right harmonies, extremely talented musicians and breathtaking singers. The band’s performances and stage images are so close to original that it’s hard to notice the difference. The original concert musicians taking part in this definitely supplements the feeling of reality. In Riga show the bass will be played by Mike Watson, who have participated in several ABBA records and tours. He is also the man dressed up as Napoleon on the cover of ABBA's “Waterloo” album.

Band ARRIVAL From Sweden was founded by Vicky Zetterberg in 1995 in Gothenburg, Sweden and very soon became one of the world’s most popular and most selling ABBA show band. Since the start in 1995 the band has toured in 60 countries and has appeared in several TV and radio shows all over the world. The band has also played with more than 60 symphony orchestras throughout the world. Successful shows with some of the finest US orchestras, such as Boston Symphony Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Houston Symphony Orchestra and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.

This band is the only band who owns the right to reflect the original look of ABBA band members working together with designer Owe Sandström, who have made and owns all ABBA stage costumes.

Even more – ARRIVAL from Sweden is the only band that has been given a previously unreleased ABBA song directly from Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson of ABBA. The song “Just A Notion” will be due for a worldwide release.

During the show you will hear all most popular ABBA hits: Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Does Your Mother Know, Take A Chance, SOS, The Winner Takes It All, Super Trouper, Money Money Money, Waterloo, Honey Honey, Fernando, Chiquitita, Knowing Me Knowing You, Thank You For The Music, Lay All Your Love On Me, Gimme Gimme Gimme and of course Happy New Year.

This production is the closest you will ever get to see ABBA!
