Sam Smith first Positivus festival headliner

One of the most listened artists in the world has been confirmed as the first headliner artist of the Positivus festival and it is none other than Sam Smith, who is currently taking the world by storm with his latest super hit “Unholy” and is on his way to the listeners with a new album. With over 70 million monthly listeners, Sam Smith is in the Top 10 most listened artists in the world and he will be performing at the 15th Positivus festival on Saturday, July 15th.

Since his debut album "In The Lonely Hour" (2014), Sam Smith has accumulated a series of brilliant achievements - 35 million albums sold, 45 billion listens on music streaming sites, four Grammy Awards, three BRIT Awards, six MOBOs, a Golden Globe, an Oscar, two no. 1 albums, five no. 1 singles, two no. 1 as a vocalist for Naughty Boy (“La La La”, 2013) and Calvin Harris (“Promises”). Sam Smith has done it all and the list could go on and on, but this is only a small part of what he has experienced.

Sam Smith's latest album “Gloria”, out on January 27th, will be his boldest and most outspoken effort, following the massive success of “Unholy”. In less than 24 hours, it became one of the fastest growing songs of all time on Spotify. Since then, it has topped the global charts on both Spotify and Apple Music, as well as reaching number one in the UK, Australia and Canada. Super hit featuring Kim Petras has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify.

The album "Gloria" will be a more modern and creative view of Sam Smith in a dazzling, luxurious, sophisticated, unexpected and at times thrilling sound. Dominating the TikTok platform, Sam Smith is currently only one of three artists to have debuted at number 1 on the “Official UK Chart” this year. With his fourth album "Gloria", Sam Smith continues to break new ground and is a kind of revolution in the artist's musical work.
