POSITIVUS FESTIVAL 2021 is postponed to 2022

POSITIVUS FESTIVAL WILL HAPPEN IN 2022

Once again, we are here, summer without Positivus festival. Due to the lasting Covid-19 pandemic, the festival still cannot take place in 2021.

Most of the festival program was already confirmed and for a long time we waited for the most appropriate moment to announce it - unfortunately, the pandemic only became more serious and the news about the grand summer festival was not the right news for the announcement to be taken seriously.

We see a light at the end of the tunnel and it is a vaccine. Already this summer, there will be many events where people, who have received the vaccine, will be able to enjoy and experience live concerts again without any restrictions. However, organizing huge events, such as Positivus festival, there are more considerations related to the overall situation around the world, such as the artist traveling, what is difficult or even impossible due to the various rules in the countries, so we are not able to organize festival this summer with many foreign artists.

Positivus festival will take place July 15-16, 2022. A lot of exciting news is expected, which will be related to the first festival after Covid. We will announce it, hopefully, in the early autumn! All purchased tickets are valid for the 2022 festival.

INFORMATION FOR POSITIVUS FESTIVAL TICKET HOLDERS 2020 AND 2021

All tickets for the 2020 and 2021 festival will be valid for the 2022 festival on July 15 - 16. Save it! We plan to start selling tickets for the 2022 festival no later than September, with the announcement of the first artists. However, this announcement time may be affected by the course of the pandemic, as we do not want to start announcing the festival program before life has returned to normal to such an extent that the 2022 festival can be predicted as realistic.

WHICH ARTISTS WILL PERFORM IN 2022?

We are currently working with the artists to reschedule their performances from 2020 and also 2021 festival to participate in the 2022 festival. We expect most of the artists to perform in 2022. As we already mentioned, the first announcements of the 2022 festival line-up are expected in the fall.

OPPORTUNITY TO EXCHANGE FESTIVAL TICKET AND ATTEND CONCERTS

If for some reason you cannot or do not want to attend the festival next year, then we offer to exchange the festival ticket for a concert ticket 125% worth of the festival ticket price and attend any of the “Positivus Festival concerts” or “BDG concerts” concerts. The planned concert list you can see at the website www.fbi.lv.  If you want to exchange your festival ticket for a concert ticket please write to info@positivusfestival.com. Festival ticket exchange for a concert ticket will be possible until December 31st, 2021.

WILL ONLY VACCINATED PERSONS BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE FESTIVAL IN 2022?

It is difficult to predict exactly what restrictions will apply for the summer of 2022, but it is already clear that vaccinated people can avoid various restrictions much sooner. If this will be the only opportunity to organize a festival, then we will do it. We do maintain the possibility that in 2022 the festival will only be available for vaccinated people, but if restrictions and the rules in force at the time allow, such a requirement will not be mandatory. Our priority will be to make attending the festival as safe as visiting any other public place, so we will take into consideration the rules of the time very carefully and follow them.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RETURN THE FESTIVAL TICKET AND RECEIVE THE MONEY I PAID FOR THEM?

If for some reason you know that you will not be able to attend the festival in 2022, then until August 30th, by filling in the form HERE and sending together with the tickets to info@positivusfestival.com, you can receive back the money paid for the tickets.
