Melrose Avenue to perform at Palladium Riga

Australian modern metalcore band Melrose Avenue, one of the fastest-rising names in the international heavy music scene, will perform at Palladium Riga for the first time on 19 February. From their first fans outside their native Australia to sold-out tours across several continents, the band has quickly established itself as one of heavy music’s most in-demand new acts.

Tickets will go on sale on 11 June at 12:00 via the Biļešu Serviss network. Members of the Positivus Festival and FBI concert club will have access to a pre-sale from 10 June at 12:00.

Born during a period when pandemic restrictions kept musicians away from live audiences, the newly formed Australian quartet first found a broad following online. By turning the limitations of lockdown into opportunity and making full use of social media, Melrose Avenue built a fanbase far beyond Australia and, in 2023, ranked as the 8th most-viewed music act on TikTok in Australia and New Zealand.

The band is made up of lead vocalist and principal songwriter Vlado Saric, guitarist Mitch Black, drummer Jed McIntosh, and guitarist/vocalist Shawn Mayer. Together with their producers, fans, and wider team, the quartet have turned digital visibility into a real international movement.

Melrose Avenue’s sound combines heavy riffs, infectious hooks and explosive energy, making their songs accessible beyond the core boundaries of metalcore. Clean melodic vocals give way at times to rap-influenced rhythmic phrasing, while in the band’s most intense moments Vlado Saric’s voice takes on the urgent edge that has become one of their most distinctive features.

Drawing influence from Bring Me The Horizon, Memphis May Fire and Linkin Park, Melrose Avenue blend crushing breakdowns with soaring choruses, creating a sound that is both aggressive and anthemic. Their music has also rapidly surpassed 20 million global streams, confirming the growing interest around the band.

In 2025, Melrose Avenue embarked on their first U.S. tour, supporting Ice Nine Kills, The Word Alive and The Funeral Portrait across 26 sold-out shows. Soon after, the band played their own sold-out headline dates in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Phoenix, while their UK and European tour sold out in less than 72 hours. In 2026, Melrose Avenue will head out on their biggest U.S. tour to date, and on 19 February they will bring that same energy to Riga.
