POSITIVUS FESTIVAL AND I LOVE YOU RECORDS ANNOUNCE TALLINN MUSIC WEEK SHOWCASE PROGRAMME

On Saturday, March 28th, the biggest indoor festival in the Nordic-Baltic region - Tallinn Music Week (TMW) will once again house the showcase of Baltic’s biggest music festival - Positivus and the independent record label I Love You Records. For the fourth consecutive year Tallinn’s oldest cinema stage - Sõprus, will host Latvian as well as Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish and Lithuanian acts.

The showcase, organised by Positivus Festival and I Love You Records, has become a beloved tradition amongst Tallinn Music Week visitors, with 2015 marking the fourth annual showcase.  Tallinn’s oldest cinema - Sõprus (Vana-Posti str. 8) will be hosting the Finnish musician and globe-trotter Markus Rafael Nylund, acclaimed Latvian indie-rockers Laika Suns and the distinctively Nordic indie singer and multi-instrumentalist from Sweden Jennie Abrahamson, who just supported her idol - Peter Gabriel on a leg of his North-American and European tour.

The promising line-up will also include one of Norway's top up-and-coming electronic indie-pop artists Bendik, the renowned Latvian electro-pop artist, vocalist and one-half of the prominent Instrumenti duo Shipsi with his eponymous solo project, the folk and cabaret inspired Lithuanian singer-songwriter Alina Orlova as well as one of Estonia’s most successful rock bands and Baltic festival favourites Galvanic Elephants. More information about the artists is available here.

Tallinn Music Week is one of the biggest indoor music festivals in the Nordic-Baltic region and a music industry conference, bringing more than 200 local and international acts and an audience of around 20,000 to the capital of Estonia for three days of music – from metal to pop, from classical to dance, from young upstarts to established crowd-pleasers.

Tallinn Music Week festival pass price is currently EUR 45 and will rise up to EUR 55 starting March 16th. Separate concert tickets are priced EUR 5-15. http://tmw.ee/#!/passes/festival-pass
