On November 11th, the Palladium Concert Hall will host a remarkable Michael Jackson Tribute Live Show presented by celebrated Sasha Pazzder, a singer, dancer, artist, choreographer and a friend of the King of Pop Michael Jackson! For the first time, our viewer will be able to hear the hits of the legendary singer in the "live" performance, accompanied by a fiery group of musicians.

For the very first time LP will perform in Latvia this December

On December 7th one of the most extraordinary contemporary indie and pop-rock artists Laura Pergolizzi, better known as LP, will perform in Arena Riga. Her self-made superhit Lost On You, which has almost 150 million views on YouTube, brought the singer a worldwide fame, but she has a number of other wonderful pieces, which can be taken from 4 full-length albums. Just to name few ones, like Tokyo Sunrise, Into The Wild, Tightrope, Muddy Waters, Someday, Other People, Strange, Don’t Let Me Down, Night Like This and many more. This is the very first time when this talented singer will perform in Latvia.

Merzbow & Balázs Pándi to play at Skaņu Mežs 2017

In 2017, Skaņu Mežs will celebrate its 15th anniversary. The festival will take place at the music house “Daile” on October 13th and 14th with an opening event on October 6 at the art museum Riga Bourse. The first announced act of this festival edition is the duo of Merzbow, the Japanese noise musician, held as one of the most important artists in the field, and Balázs Pándi, a drummer active in experimental metal, noise and free jazz. They will play on October 14.

Depeche Mode To Bring Their Global Spirit Tour To Latvia In February 2018

Following succesful European and North American Tour, Depeche Mode is going to play Arena Riga in Latvia. Depeche Mode will visit Riga for the first time in four years, bringing their stunning live show to fans who have not seen the band since 2014’s World Tour of Delta Machine.

Folk singer Stu Larsen will perform in Riga coming fall

On September 28th an Australian singer, songwriter and folk musician Stu Larsen will perform at Latvian 1st Rock Cafe (Riga, Marstalu 2/4). It will be his first time in Latvia and this concert is to support his brand new album Resolute (to be released on July 21st). The previous, his debut album, is called Vagabond and was released in 2014. A relevant role in its making, record and producing took his friend, a romantic British singer songwriter Passenger, also known as Michael Rosenberg. It’s worth mentioning that Passenger show in Riga last fall was completely sold out.

Sarah Brightman returns in Riga with Royal Christmas Gala

As part of the Royal Christmas Gala, international recording artist and the most successful soprano of all time, Sarah Brightman returns in Riga on 1st of December this year, together with Gregorian and other special guests, she will perform in Arena Riga.

Fink will perform in Latvia for the first time

British Folk-Rock, Blues and Indie band “Fink” will perform in Riga on Friday, 29th of September in concert hall Palladium. The trio will visit Latvia during a support tour of their upcoming brand new album to be rolling out in spring. “Fink” has released 7 albums until now, of which commercially most succesfull have been “Perfect Darkness” (2011) and “Hard Believer” (2014). The best known hits are Looking Too Closely, This Is The Thing, Perfect Darkness, Sort Of Revolution, Yesterday Was Hard On All Of Us.

EWERT AND THE TWO DRAGONS returns to Positivus festival

The Estonian international heavyweights Ewert and The Two Dragons had some amazing news to share with their fans at the tightly packed gig in Riga’s Palladium concert hall on Saturday. The band announced their return to the most anticipated music festival in the Baltics - Positivus Festival, which will be taking place from July 17th - 19th in Salacgrīva, Latvia.

“Latvia is like our second home - this is where we started and were discovered,” said lead vocalist Ewert Sundja, addressing the hundreds of fans gathered at the over-crowded Palladium concert hall on Saturday. “And the same can be said about Positivus Festival. I hope to see you all there - do you know this festival in Salacgriva?” The ensuing cheers and applause lasted long after the last encore, with the fans visibly unwilling to part with their musical idols. And although this will be the band’s forth Positivus Festival appearance, marking them as seasoned festival veterans, this summer Ewert and The Two Dragons will perform on the biggest stage -  the Lattelecom stage.

Their third and newest studio album Circles (2015) was recorded in August 2013 at Bear Creek Studio in the U.S. Circles was produced by Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy) and is their first album released under Sire Records (Warner Music). After releasing the album the band went on an extensive North American tour.

Ewert and The Two Dragons are one of the most successful Estonian acts of recent years, with substantial and increasing following abroad. Hard work and countless performances in Estonia and overseas from 2011 to 2014 have paid off generously; Their sophomore album Good Man Down (2011), released by I Love You Records, became one of the best-selling albums in Estonia, with awards such as the Tallinn Music Week Skype (Go Change The World) award in 2011, the Estonian Radio 2 award for Good Man Down (2011) as the best hit single, as well as five Estonian Music Awards in 2012 and the prestigious international Eurosonic European Border Breakers Award in 2013.
Positivus Festival 2015 will be taking place in Latvia, Salacgrīva, for the ninth consecutive year. Five stages will host world renowned artists such as Robert Plant, Placebo, Kasabian and other famous, as well as many new and exciting emerging acts, with new names to be added soon.
